Meet the Team

  • Founder, Author, Chaplain, & Voice of The Old Gray Moose

Ana is an Episcopal priest, board-certified clinical chaplain, and devoted writer with a heart for those navigating life’s wilderness places. With over a decade of ministry in hospitals, prisons, and psychiatric facilities, her devotionals and podcast offer sacred pause and spiritual companionship to caregivers, chaplains, and everyday sojourners.

Ana writes from the margins — spaces of grief, grace, resilience, and deep faith. Through her books, podcast, and ministry presence, she invites others to breathe deeply, listen closely, and meet God in the unexpected.

    Favorite Scripture:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

  • Director of Quiet Moments & Cozy Interruptions
Silent Co-Host of The Old Gray Moose Podcast

Lisa is the behind-the-scenes assistant whose fur-covered wisdom, purrs of peace, and strategic nap placement contribute to every devotional writing session and podcast recording. Whether curled near the microphone or gently interrupting with a head bump, Lisa reminds us that stillness is holy and interruptions can carry grace.

Her ministry includes spiritual staring contests, warmth distribution, and gentle reminders to rest when we forget to breathe.

    Favorite Scripture:
“Be still, and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
